Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum is another one of the best Gatlinburg museums. Considered a hidden gem in the Smokies, this unique museum is home to over 20,000 sets of salt and pepper shakers from across the globe. The shakers at this museum come in a seemingly endless variety of shapes and sizes, with sets designed to look like animals, cars, houses, U.S. Presidents, aliens, cowboys, and just about anything else you can think of. Admission is only $3.00, and that money goes toward the purchase of any set of salt and pepper shakers in the gift shop.
4. Christ in the Smokies Museum & Gardens
Christ in the Smokies Museum & Gardens retells the life of Jesus Christ using lifelike wax figures, dramatic lighting, special effects, and music. Visitors will love seeing stories from the Bible come to life before their very eyes. In addition to the indoor displays, the museum is also home to a beautiful garden that is filled with Christian imagery.
