A great way to get some exercise with your pet while staying at our cabins is by heading over to the nearby Gatlinburg Trail! This is one of the only pet-friendly trails in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, as long as they are on a leash at all times. The northern trailhead of the Gatlinburg Trail is just off the Parkway on River Road, where it travels for almost 2 miles to the Sugarlands Visitor Center within the park. This pleasant and easy hiking trail provides beautiful views of the river, as well as unique sights, such as the foundations and chimneys of old homesites.
