1. Gatlinburg SkyTrail
While this new addition to the Gatlinburg SkyLift Park is not open yet, there is expected to be an announcement coming sometime this month with an opening date. The SkyTrail will be a new scenic walkway that will connect each end of the SkyBridge and will provide guests the opportunity to take a hike through the mountains. The trail will be just over a third of a mile long, making it ideal for adults, children, and even dogs to enjoy a nice walk together! The trail will be split into three different sections: the elevated boardwalk, the tulip tower, and the path. Each section will provide unique views and history of the SkyBridge, as well as the Smoky Mountains! Once it officially opens, this will be one of the best things to do in Gatlinburg with the entire family!
2. Pigeon Forge Chairlift
Everyone knows that chairlifts are one of the best ways to take in the beauty of the Smokies. There are a few different lifts located in the Smoky Mountains, but they are all located in Gatlinburg. That is going to change soon with the construction of the Pigeon Forge chairlift. The new attraction will be located behind Pigeon Forge Snow and will feature an incredible 85-foot observation tower! While an opening date has not been released yet, you can follow the progress on their Facebook page.3. Toy Box Mini Golf
This new and exciting mini golf course is now open in Pigeon Forge for the whole family to enjoy. At Toy Box Mini Golf, you can play your way through 18 holes of putt-putt surrounded by lifesize versions of classic childhood toys! As you compete to get the lowest score, you will be amazed by the feelings of nostalgia you will get when you see some of the giant toys on the course! Be sure to bring your camera along because the statues make for the perfect backdrop to an amazing family photo. After you enjoy your game of miniature golf, take a trip to the toy store so you can take your favorite item back home with you!
