1. Smoky Mountain Easter Arts and Crafts Show
Location: The Great Smoky Mountain Arts and Crafts Community, Gatlinburg Convention CenterEach year, at the Gatlinburg Convention Center, artists from the Great Smoky Mountain Arts and Crafts Community get together to display their springtime artwork. This is their annual Easter show where you can browse the art and purchase pieces as a souvenir. You'll be blown away by all the unique finds from varying different styles of art and concepts!
2. Smoky Mountain Trout Tournament
Location: GatlinburgRocky Top Outfitters hosts the largest trout tournament in the Smokies, and it's open to visitors and locals! For more information, and to register for the tournament, click here. Over 10,000 trout will be stocked in over 20 miles of streams before this 2-day event kicks off! This fishing tournament will hand out more than $10,000 in cash and prizes!
3. Earth Week
Location: GatlinburgThe Hilton Garden Inn in Gatlinburg hosts Gatlinburg's Earth Week celebration. There's plenty of family-friendly activities for people of all ages, and it's a great way to learn about being green in Gatlinburg! At the end of the day, this celebration is all about taking care of the gorgeous Smoky Mountain environment and ecosystem that surrounds us each day. Be sure to visit the Earth Day Festival held at Mynatt Park on April 21, from 3-7 p.m., too!
4. Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage
Location: W.L. Mills Conference Center, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Various VenuesThe Wildflower Pilgrimage is a great way to celebrate the spring season in the Smoky Mountains! There are various hikes, nature walks and programs available to learn about the spring season, trees and wildflowers in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. 5. Smoky Mountain Tunes and Tales
Location: Downtown GatlinburgAs springtime turns into summertime, Smoky Mountain Tunes and Tales kicks off mid-June! The summer-long street-performance festival will showcase storytelling, dancing and music each evening in downtown Gatlinburg! The events take place at 6 p.m. each night, so we recommend just wandering the streets downtown around that time - you won't miss the fun as performers make their way along the Parkway.
