1. Free Parking
If you have a few other places in mind that you want to visit outside of the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Community, you can always drive over in your own vehicle. You won't have to worry about struggling to find a place to park or paying expensive fees when you arrive either. There is free parking available at each shop there for your convenience.2. Yellow Trolley Route
Did you know that the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Community is also located along the Yellow Trolley Route? You and your family can board this mini trolley at the Gatlinburg Mass Transit Center. It also makes the entire 8-mile Glades/Buckhorn Loop, so you can see everything this community has to offer. The fare for this trolley is $1.00 per person for unlimited access all around the loop. It's available daily April through October, and during November and December, the route is available Monday through Saturday.

You'll discover a diversity of crafts when you visit this special community. From one-of-a-kind ceramics to homemade soap, there are items here to fit people of all interests. Whether you're searching for a souvenir to commemorate your trip or a unique gift for a loved one, you're sure to find something amazing there. If you're an artist yourself, this is also a great place to go for inspiration.4. Artists Demonstrating Their Trades
The Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Community is the largest independent organization of artisans in the United States. Along your way, you'll most likely see carvers, weavers, watercolor artists, potters, and numerous other artisans skillfully demonstrating their abilities before thousands. Most of the items you'll see in these stores are locally made, and you can even talk with the artists themselves! They will often happily discuss the history of their craft and answer any questions you might have.
