Our stay was everything we wanted and needed. This cabin gives you all the feels of being in a rural setting but yet super close to grocery shopping, downtown gatlinburg and hiking trails! The hot tub at night was amazing on a chilly night while star gazing. Also comes with a charcoal grill to do some amazing cooking.

The cabin was a perfect escape into nature with a beautiful view from the deck and hot tub! We had a problem with the hot water that was fixed right away. My only criticism was not being able to turn the fan on/off independently from the overhead lights. We would recommend Stony Brook Cabins to anyone looking for a place in the Smokey’s as the staff was very friendly, helpful, and communicative in addition to the accommodations being nice.

I loved this little place but I really loved how well Stonybook staff stayed in touch and checked on us during our stay. I’ve rented from other places and never ever heard from any one. The customer service was excellent. The bed in this cabin was so comfortable. I never “sleep in” but I did in this bed. It was so refreshing. There are a lot of stairs to the front door but they prepare you for that. I needed the extra exercise anyway so it was fine. If you are looking for a nice place to relax this is your place!! Thank you again to the staff! I will use you again in the future based off of your customer service.

Loved the view. Gravel road to cabin might be hard to navigate in a small car but we didn’t have any problems! The hot tub is such a nice touch too! We really enjoyed our stay!

AMAZING!! Booked this cabin for a peaceful birthday getaway and this place did not disappoint! Everything was exactly as listed and it felt right at home. The hosts were very communicative and checked in with us frequently. They did inform us ahead of time of insects getting in, however we hardly had any stop by! My partner and I really enjoyed the gaming system when we weren’t doing any other planned activities. We had trouble locating it as we arrived pretty late and it was super dark(our fault), and the customer service agent did the best of their ability helping us locate the cabin over the phone. That is the only “complaint” that I can write! I did not want to end my stay. I can say I am definitely considering this place again in the future for another getaway from reality! Thank you Stony Brook Cabins! ??

We loved the Eagle’s Nest Hideaway! Beautiful, clean, and private for our little honeymoon! Perfect distance from activities and food. Stony Brook is responsive and so kind! Even the pest control guy was super friendly and we enjoyed talking with him when we arrived! Thanks again for a wonderful trip!

The perfect getaway for my husband and I! The cabin was spotless, comfortable, and had plenty of amenities to get us through the week. The view from the porch and hot tub is enough to make you want to never leave. Stony Brook truly made our little “honeymoon” one to remember! We will be back.

This was a lovely little cabin with a beautiful, amazing view. It was a good size for three people, and we were grateful to be able to bring along our dog. The view comes because the cabin is perched on the mountainside, which means the driveway is steep (we used 4WD without a problem) and there are a lot of stairs, leading up. We expected this, and it was not a problem but be aware that big coolers and suitcases might be better left at home. The cabin was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and everything was comfortable—especially that king size bed, we slept ridiculously well! Also, it smelled clean; there were no musty, moldy, or pet smells which can be a gamble with pet-friendly rentals. The view was just fantastic—I had some lovely morning coffees and a great sunset sitting on the deck. We didn’t plan on using the hot tub, but it was super clean and wound up being really relaxing. Highly recommended!

Excellent space. My husband stayed for 5 nights. Hot tub was clean and hot, the views are excellent morning, noon and night, the fireplace kept it extra toasty.
Far enough from the main attractions to get a “mountain” experience but close enough to site-see during the day. Will definitely rent again next year!
Stony Brook was great to rent from and proactive on their communication.

Great View to look at while in hot tub, easy drive to cabin, drive way is not rocks so that was a plus. Only negative is that you can not turn off the overhead lights and have the ceiling fan on at the same time. Host is very fast to respond.

This was a great place to stay. The view was beautiful. They made it super easy to find & it was nice to get a call checking in to see to everything was going. Our phones didn’t have signal (which I don’t mind at all!) but the WiFi provided was quick and helpful if we needed to use it. The space was super clean and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend & would stay here again!

Very comfy stay. Super clean, peaceful and quiet. After a busy day at pigeon forge/Gatlinburg going to the cabin and being able to relax in the hot tub was lovely. Comfortable bed, great hideaway.

The cabin and staff were great. We will stay at a property less deep into the trees next time. The were bees in the siding above the hot tub and a wasp crawling the the bed.

Very nice, cozy cabin. Loved the gas fireplace and very nice kitchen. Hot tub was great! Driving TN hills definitely an adventure…these 2 elders will look for easier access cabins in the future. Eagles Nest was all that was promised…quiet, beautiful views, & a babbling brook nearby. Revisited our honeymoon trek for our 45th anniversary. Stony Brook Cabins are clean, nice, well-equipped making our stay very nice indeed.

Eagle's Nest was the perfect lil cabin for our honeymoon getaway! Sequestered high up in the mountains, we had privacy and solace from the busy Gatlinburg strip (which is only a short 20 min drive away). Cabin was clean, save for a few cobwebs, and we enjoyed making use of the kitchenette on the late nights. Only downfall it has is the amount of stairs it has to get up to the door, but we enjoyed the exercise nonetheless.

We enjoyed our 3 days/4 nights very much. Very private, quiet, peaceful setting, exactly what we were looklng for. The hot tub was great. A bit too far from Gatlinburg (25 min.), but doable.

This was the best vacation our family has ever had. The cabin was absolutely beautiful. Everything was perfect. We already decided the Smokies is where we want to be for next year's vacation. I've been on Stony Brook's website every day since we returned home trying to decided which cabin to rent next year.

The cabin was beautiful! We absolutely loved it! We had mentioned we were on our honeymoon during our stay and the staff members left us a signed card and small gift! They also stayed in touch and made sure we had everything we needed. The view of the mountains from our porch was gorgeous to wake up to every morning, and the cabin was very clean and tidy! Really enjoyed our stay! The recent renovations were really lovely. View was amazing & hot tub was perfect. We didn’t mind being a bit further outside of town, but the lack of internet and cell service made us spend more time away than we would’ve preferred. If you’re looking to go fully off the grid this is your spot!

We had the most amazing time! The cabin was beautiful and romantic and had the most comfy bed where we could see the mountains as we woke up. The hot tub was clean and a great place to relax. We enjoyed spending the mornings and the afternoons on the quiet porch. The cabin felt rustic but brand new, and was beautiful and modern on the inside. Everything was so very clean inside, you can tell the cabin is cleaned very well! The staff was so lovely and even called to check on us after we arrived and recommended a beautiful drive that we took. We can’t wait to come back to this beautiful cabin and stay here again next year! Would absolutely recommend to everyone! It’s a perfect place for a quiet relaxing romantic getaway for two!

The stay was amazing! The trip started out almost like summer with weather being 70 and ended with a winter wonderland. The cabin was clean and looked newly renovated. We have stayed with stoney brooks a few times now and they never disappoint!

Everything was wonderful during our stay at the Eagle’s Nest! There were lots of stairs to climb but it was worth it for the view and the cozy cabin. It was so nice of the office to call after the first night to see if we needed anything for the rest of our stay. I would most definitely stay at this cabin or any of the others offered from you!

We were very surprise that the cabin had been updated since the pictures that were online. Everything was clean and neat once we arrived. The cabin was ready about 30 min earlier than expected which was perfect. Everything was in working condition and the hot tub was easy to use. The 42 steps weren't as bad as they looked online. The cabin is exactly 30 min from the action in Gatlinburg which was perfect. We enjoyed the ride in and gave us a chance to stop at the grocery store to grab some dinner to cook on the grill.

Overall a good experience. If you want to cut off from the world you can do it here. Very nice and private. We had a good time on our Pandemic get away. One note, we have Verizon and cell service was bad/nonexistent for us here.

We had such a great time and loved the cabin! It was cozy and we loved that it was decorated for the holidays. Our only complaints were that the steps were not lit up well so it was hard to see walking up and the pull out couch was very uncomfortable. Regardless, we can had great time and would definitely come back!
