We absolutely loved it, the host were very responsive and they were always up to date to see if we enjoyed our stay. Very private, yet close to everything. A good 30/40 mins drive to everything, and a plus for the hot pool! We enjoyed it all, will definitely book again. Don’t hesitate to book! ??

All amenities worked as advertised. Cabin is in a bit of a cellular dead zone for my provider but Wi-Fi worked great. Easy 30 min drive to Gatlinburg.

We absolutely loved our stay even our pup enjoyed it. The views were nice. The hot tub was lovely. We sleep well in the bed. Only thing I would say negative is the walk down to the creek No good access. Would definitely stay again.

My husband had the perfect little getaway! We wanted something secluded yet close to any activity. This cabin was PERFECT! Clean, quiet, had such a pretty view! The hot tub was a bonus!

Always enjoy our stay at Cozy Bear Hideaway. There is an issue with the hot tub you may want to check out. After the first 15 minute session it gets a hot rubber smell and kicks off after about 5 minutes. “HH” on the display.

Loved the cozy cabin. The view of the mountains is amazing. You can hear the water flowing from the creek. Close to Gatlinburg and Climbworks. Will definitely be going back.

Great place to get away and relax. The view is so beautiful. Close to Gatlinburg but far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. We took our fur baby with us and he loved sun bathing on the patio. The hot tub was clean and relaxing after a long day in Gatlinburg. The cabin was nice, could use a new paint job but wasn't dirty. We will definitely be going back.

Great view. secluded. love the fireplace. perfect for a couple and your little dog suggest extra towels for hot tub. also suggest a glass inclosure for wood fireplace. TV nice but could have been bigger. great wifi. we will be back.

My husband, Norman and I had been on a road trip since Thursday, October 19, 2023 when we arrived on Friday, October 27, 2023 at the Cozy Bear Hideaway tucked in the sweet Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. When we left Huntington, Long Island the morning of October 19th to set out on this journey, our destination was the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It had been quite an adventure with 1 night in Vesuvius, VA; 3 nights in Mt. Airy, NC; 4 nights in Asheville, NC; and now here for 3 nights in our Stony Brook Cabin in Cosby, Tennessee just outside of Gatlinburg. The drive here was breathtaking - but I never imagined that our cabin would be right in the heart of the mountains! The cabin was nestled in among autumn trees of many colors. You couldn't see our cozy cabin from the road. Our favorite spot in our cabin was sitting on the wooden chairs on the porch, gazing at the view & enjoying the ever changing colors of autumn and the incredible beauty of the mountains. I never imagined our little hideaway to be like this. It was beyond my imagination and expectations! We couldn't stop looking at the mountains - right outside our little cabin. I love taking photographs - especially of nature. How was I to know that some of the most beautiful shots I would get would be from this view. I also have to say that the cabin had everything we needed for a 3-night stay. It had a lovely decor with a Bear theme throughout. It was decorated so nice and was clean and most welcoming. We had our breakfasts in a lovely kitchen and 2 nights we had dinner there. It was our home away from home for those 3 days. We went out during the day to explore the Smoky Mountains National Park and did go into Gatlinburg one afternoon to listen to country music at Ole Red. But we loved coming home to our cabin in the Smoky Mountains and just being together. Thank you so, so much for the memories we made here in the mountains of Tennessee. Loved everything about this property from the inside out. The view was amazing. The property was clean and I even received a birthday card signed by the staff of the property management. Would definitely recommend. The only thing that the property needs is a bar to help get up from the toilet. It sits a little low and my boyfriend has bad knees lol. But that is honestly the only recommendation I could make.

We loved our stay and will recommend stony brook to all of our friends and family. Cozy bear hideaway had the perfect amount of privacy and amazing mountain views while also being very close to gatlinburg. The amenities were very easy to use and very clean. We can’t say enough good things about our stay and will definitely be coming back soon.

I've stayed in quite a few cabins in TN through different agencies and this one was by far our favorite. Even with the couple of negatives, they aren't bad enough to not rent again. This will be our future go to cabin. Pros: Very secluded Hot tub Cable TV Mountain views Easy drive way The customer service Cons: The bed needs replacing. We almost went and bought something to sleep on it's so uncomfortable. Internet went out on day 2 of 7 and they never came out to fix it. You get 0 cell service here so it's a necessity if there's an emergency.

The staff is absolutely amazing. This whole experience has been amazing. This is our second Stony Brooks stay and we will now be staying with them every trip! Everything was clean we had everything we needed and they were so accommodating. They even called us to make sure we didn’t need anything and I thought that was so kind. Everything was amazing!!! They even got us a card and ceramic bears for our anniversary.

The cabin was great and the view was incredible! We loved the hot tub and the heart shape tub. When we needed any new linen is was taken care of promptly. The king sized bed was nice and comfy. We slept like babies. Thanks again!!!!!

Loved the secluded cabin, Cozy Bear. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. Comfortable king bed. Beautiful view from the deck. Hot tub was really nice after a day full of activities. Manager was extremely organized and professional.

The team here is absolutely amazing. We were on our honeymoon and after a wild wedding weekend, this was a MUCH deserved experience. Not super far from everything, but far enough to be at peace. Definitely worth the money and we will be returning!

Cozy Bear Cabin was the perfect get away for our honeymoon! The views from the cabin porch were absolutely breath taking, we even enjoyed the the small country road that the cabin was located on. The cabin itself was clean and well stocked with towels and kitchen utensils.

We were very pleased with our experience. The cabin was very cute, had all the amenities we needed for day to day life, and the hot tub was clean with no issues. We were very happy to find that the mountain view was exactly what we were looking for and it was just as secluded as we hoped. The fireplace and jetted heart tub were amenities we did not search for but were a nice touch. The bed was also super comfy and it was great to have a king.

I have stayed at many cabins from many different companies and Stony Brook Cabins has been the best. No complaints. Everything was wonderful and we had a great weekend. It was my husband's birthday and when we got to the cabin there was a present and card left by the staff. How sweet!!! We will return next year and we will be staying with Stony Brook.

We had a great time during our stay at the Cozy Bear! So much to do in the surrounding areas. The view was BEAUTIFUL! We LOVED rocking on the deck in the mornings listening to the creek nearby. Be sure to be back in time to see the view at sundown too, its AMAZING! After a long day of hiking and sightseeing it was so nice to come home for a late night, "hot tub time" to relax. The sky was filled with stars and made for a beautiful quiet night outside on the deck. This was our first vacation ever bringing our dog along. So grateful he was welcomed to the cabin and he also enjoyed a great time and made himself at home.

Very relaxing stay in our cozy cabin. Coming back from a "hard" day of sightseeing and shopping knowing the hot tub would be waiting to soothe tired feet and muscles. We liked watching the clouds covering and uncovering the mountains in view from our rocking chairs on the deck.
