Enjoyable stay in Bear Essentials! Close to downtown Gatlinburg, nicely decorated and clean. Each of our three couples had their own room and bathroom. Would stay again!

We absolutely loved this cabin! We got to see a family of bears every single day from the front/back porch. It was so spacious and cozy- felt like home. Big beautiful equipped kitchen. Hot tub was amazing. Only little downside was I do feel like the showers could’ve been cleaned better (some hair from the people prior was still in the shower) but that won’t stop us from staying here again. My family really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back one day. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Was a great stay. Linens need to be cleaned better. There were stains on the comforter and hair on a few towels

This home made a perfect place to land after busy days hiking in the park or exploring Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It had everything we needed. The property managers were very responsive to our needs and took care of everything!

We were on a family trip with our 2 adult children and partners. Everyone loved the charming rustic cabin. It looks exactly like the pictures and has everything needed, very clean and fully equipped. The hot tub was sparkling and so inviting at the end of the day. From the main floor deck seemed like living in the treetops among birdsong. The couple in the lower level bedroom thought their mattress was a little lumpy, but the other 2 couoles loved their mattresses from night 1. We were sorry we could not stay longer and highly recommend. A small black bear cub made an appearance munching leaves as we left. So much-needed fun!

This cabin was exactly as listed! The cabin was beautiful, a good distance from other cabins, and in a great location with a short drive to downtown Gatlinburg.
Our group really enjoyed a peaceful stay here.

Great location, awesome cabin! There was only two couples with two kids each and it feels like there was room for another couple without kids maybe! Pool table was awesome, kids loved the retro video fame machine! Plenty of room to chill and cook.

We had an amazing time, your cabin was just what we were looking for! The entire cabin was extremely clean anddecorated adorably. Bed were extremely comfortable. Both the main level and downstairs desks had stunning views with lots of seating. We enjoyed sitting on the deck,listening to the sound of the storm. Hot tub was also enjoyable after a day of hiking. Kitchen was well stocked with anything anyone could want or need for cooking any type of meal- it even had a crockpop! The only two small minor things....Too many remotes- made it difficult to watch tv. Also, we never saw a bear, even though all the neighbor cabin visitors did. Thanks for an amazing time-we definitely plan on visiting again with our children & grandchildren.

The cabin was amazing! Everything was beautifully decorated and extremely clean! Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could ever need to cooking and eating. We had a wonderful visit!

The cabin was awesome. The fact that each floor had a King bed and their own bathroom gave everyone their own privacy. All the amenities were great. Didn't have to want for anything. I would definitely recommend and go back to stay!!

We typically like to spend time together as an entire family at various times throughout the year. Black Bear Falls is a great place to stay! The cabin was exactly what we were looking for and provided all the necessary supplies, space and quietness we needed. I’m sure we’ll stay there again. I believe this is the second time we’ve stayed at this particular place. We are thankful!

I was greeted with a birthday card from the staff and a bear trinket! I had a great time and will definitely be back. This cabin was cozy and comfortable & the holiday decor was amazing. I really enjoyed the amenities. Thank you Stony Brook for accommodating me!!!

Bear Essentials Cabin was decorated so lovely. I felt like I was at home. The view of the mountains made my breakfast on the porch perfect. The beds were so comfortable. My husband and I slept in late every day. The kids and some of the adults loved the arcade machine :). The lower level was so insulated as we did not hear the kids. It was a great place and space for everyone to unwind. Thank you.
