Our family had an amazing time just enjoying the cabin . The kitchen had all the things needed for home cooked meals . There’s a nice dollar general less than 20 minutes away that had fresh produce, that was a life saver . I look forward to booking again !

Stony Brook was exactly what we were looking good for! we were doing an early Christmas with our children and grandchildren.
it had a nicely stocked kitchen and room for us all to sit and have meals together. we loved every minute of our time there together

This cabin did not disappoint! Accurately described as in pictures. The kitchen was very well stocked. Compared to others it was exceptional. Loved the separate ice maker and additional frig drawers There were 10 of us 2 couples over 80 so 2 masters on main floor were perfect. Location was great as we well know the area. A couple complaints which I DID NOT report #1 broken drawer on bottom of main fridge. #2 shower head needed maintenance in 2floor right bedroom The beds/mattress were very comfortable. This cabin being pet friendly did NOT have a pet odor. Plenty of flat parking. We definitely will return. A!ready working out summer dates. Even with small complaints would rate a #10. Thank you Stony Brook!

We love the cabin! The size and location is wonderful. The staff at Stony Brook are so pleasant and helpful. If I could make a suggestion, the living room furniture id worn out, the couches and chairs are so uncomfortable. New living room furniture would be a plus. The kitchen table and bedroom furniture is all great ! We stay at this cabin every year on our annual girls trip!

Cabin was beautiful with plenty of room for our family reunion before our daughter’s wedding. Just disappointed there was construction going on next door and down the street. And no WiFi or tv for the week, which was out of Stony Brook’s control. The staff was very responsive to our requests and did their best to make our stay enjoyable.

Very Comfortable cabin big enough for 16 of us plus 2 dogs. The view is amazing!!! King beds & a bath room for each bedroom were great! The kitchen had a number of dishes and tools as well as a two drawer extra fridge and an ice maker. Needed a space for food storage. All had fun in the game room from 7 to 76 years. We saw bears! One with 3 cubs as we began up the mountain. Another bear & cub decided to join us at the fire pit. Our son in law saw her coming so we all were able to grab smores & run into the cabin! We were close to Gatlinburg & other places. Thanks for everything!

We had a great time! The house is very comfortable throughout with the king beds & personal bathrooms. The kitchen is great with the extra fridge & ice maker! Perhaps combining more of the tools/dishes/etc. together would allow more space for food items. A mama bear & cub showed up while we were having s’mores!!! Uninvited but exciting! The view is amazing!!!! A stool for the hot tub would be helpful. I guess a patch of grass would be difficult to add for dogs. More soap for the tubs, but lots of other items such as paper towels. Thank you! Your cabin is great! Our kids & grandkids loved it! All had fun in the game room!

Great cabin, every bedroom has its own bathroom, fun game room awesome outside area with fire pit and beautiful view on the back deck! The drive up the mountain is quite windy but totally worth it, driveway isn’t a crazy incline like some others. Bonus we saw multiple bears on the mountain during our stay.

We had such a great time at Deer Path Lodge. Loved the extra refrigerator and the ice maker. We enjoyed that we could all sit at the table together to eat and play games. The beds were very comfy and it was great that we each had our own bedroom. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate with rain and wind. But it was great that we could all be together in one place talking and laughing….. Having a great time.

This cabin was perfect for our family. Each couple had their own bedroom and a bath. Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and it’s very easy for 3 people in the kitchen to move around. Loved the extra oven,extra frig and especially the ice maker. Spent many hours at the table playing games and laughing.

Everyone in our group commented that this was the first time after many other stays that they felt like the property was as good as the hype. The views of the porch were breathtaking and the ride up was quite exciting. One reason we rented was for the fire pit which we were never able to get working but they did send a maintenance person to check it out. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to go again next year.

Dancing Bear Lodge was incredible! It was beautifully maintained & comfortable. We had 10 adults & 6 children with plenty of room for all of us. We were impressed with how very comfortable the beds were! The best we've ever encountered in renting vacation homes! The views from the decks are indescribable! Wide open mountain views of the sunrise & sunset. We loved the new firepit & cookout area. It was added after we booked & we used it almost every day! Spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen and game room, beautiful scenery and overlook, big deck with plenty of chairs, fabulous propane fire pit, spacious bedrooms with king size beds and full bathrooms. The cabin was clean and roomy. It is bigger than it looks in the pictures. It had plenty of space for the 13 of us. Our kids enjoyed the pool table and shuffle board. The adults enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the wrap around deck to have their coffee and reminisce. The views are breathtakingly beautiful. The kitchen is well appointed. We lost count of the number of bears we saw…a mother and her cub walked across the front porch in front of the kitchen table window while we were eating breakfast. What a sight!

The cabin was spectacular and just right for our large family Christmas get together. Stony Brooks called to check on us the morning after our arrival and that is a nice touch. The cabin was clean, the beds were comfortable and most all the appliances worked just fine. As a frequent traveler and home share renter, I am sometimes nervous about renting big homes that can be used and abused by large groups of people. While Dancing Bear Lodge is a 6 bed, 6 bath home and can sleep more than 15 people, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean, comfortable and welcoming the home was for our group. From handwritten welcome notes and gifts, to a sparkling clean home, to some of the most comfortable beds I have slept on, the home was just perfect. The outdoor spaces were plentiful and the views were incredible. Our group of 10 adults and 2 children were very at home and enjoyed every minute of the stay. We saw a mama black bear and her 3 cubs each of the 5 days we were there....some days they walked right up on the porch! They were so cute! The grounds were lovely as well. We enjoyed time in the National Park and Dollywood (30 minutes away for each), s'mores by the fire and family dinners/game night at the large table. I also triumped over a few shuffleboard games! We were so impressed with the house overall and highly recommend.

We (10 of our family from 4 states) loved the cabin and especially the bears that came almost daily. The fire pit was an extra special bonus to us. We enjoyed our stay at Dancing Bear Lodge very much. The house was perfect for our large family. We had bears visit almost every day and even got to see 3 cubs right in the backyard while we were on our porch. The beds were very comfortable and having bathrooms and a tv in each room was also perfect. We would definitely stay there again if we come back. Stony Brook was fantastic to work with. They were helpful from my first phone call asking about the location of the cabin prior to booking, where they answered all my questions and gave me advice. During the visit they called twice to make sure everything was going well and that we didn’t need anything. We have stayed in multiple cabins in the area, but will always look at Stony Brook first now. It was a great experience and we loved this Dancing Bear Lodge!

We all had a great time. The beds were very comfortable. The fire pit was awesome and so nice to turn on with a switch. No smoke or firewood to deal with. The only complaint was the downstairs was cold. The owners should have a space heater or an additional unit to control the downstairs. Would be nice to have a bit more cabinet space in the kitchen Crowe our condiments and food. Overall, great house!!

We had an amazing stay! The house is stunning and the view can only be described as a million dollar view of the beautiful mountain ranges. We rented this cabin after searching tirelessly for a cabin to have a small wedding celebration. We wanted enough bedrooms to have our closest family and friends stay in, a great view, and also a floor plan that was spacious enough for everyone to feel comfortable up moving around. Me and my husband got married on 10/10/20 but due to covid and our schedules, we weren't able to have a wedding ceremony or any type of celebration. So that's why we wanted to take this trip. The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was stocked fairly well with dishes and utensils, bathrooms had plenty of towels, and the cabin was very clean. My only complaints were the dishwasher that didn't clean very well and there was only one trash bag provided for such a large cabin and 3-4 day stay. It snowed the day we arrived and into the night, making for a beautiful weekend. The pool table was a big hit for the adults and the kids loved the shuffle board! If we ever need a cabin this size again, we will definitely be booking another stay here!

We had an awesome stay at Dancing Bear Lodge. The bears actually came to welcome us and it was an added bonus. The cabin looked exactly like the pictures on the link and the view was incredible. I even received a personal birthday card signed by the staff with a cute bear. I didn't realize the bear was a gift until I left, but the thought was very nice. I would definitely stay again.

The Dancing Bear Lodge was everything that was advertised and more. This was the first time that me and my brothers have all been together under one roof since we were kids. It truly was a beautiful experience and with the mountains and seeing bears made it all surreal. If my mother was alive she would've been truly excited and proud. Everything within the cabin and grounds were beautiful. The lower level mattresses do not appear new ( only a comment not anything more) Also to warn about the Mama Bear that visited us quit frequently. As beautiful as it is to see them she suck up on us quit a bit. We definitely will visit again, the overall experience, cabin and views were beautiful!

The whole process was great...making the reservations online and communicating with the ladies over the phone and via email. Very helpful. The house was very clean and beautiful.

The beds are spectacular. The kitchen is so well equipped I won’t have to move my kitchen next year. The only thing I would change is larger TV in den because we are football fans and like to be together and light over kitchen sink. This is a 5 Star cabin & then some. BEAUTIFUL VIEW. Best we’ve had in 12 years.

Great space for our family. A few disappointments in kitchen ware, and a few maintenance items. Views were spectacular and loved the wonderful porch!
