Description
Imagine a rustic log cabin outside--with a tree growing right through the middle of the floor inside! This utterly unique cabin brings the outdoors indoors, with realistic faux trees springing up to support the ceiling, form a frame for the king bed, and create a doorway.
This magical one-bedroom retreat is an airy, open-plan space that will truly make you feel you’ve escaped your day-to-day life and run away to the cool, green woods. The front door, decorated with a rich carving of a tree, sets the tone: Welcome to the forest. Beneath a high cathedral ceiling, the living area’s couch and chair beckon you to sink in and relax. They face the stone fireplace and flat-screen TV. Nearby are the cabin’s fantastic picture windows, the glass decorated with frosted silhouettes of mountains, combining beautiful artwork with extra privacy. Wood from a 100 year old barn has been repurposed to make the unique kitchen.
The cabin’s country design features wood countertops, glass-fronted cabinets, and a striking antler chandelier overhead. This fully equipped kitchen has all the utensils, cookware, serving and eating essentials, and gadgets you need to cook your favorite snacks or meals. A wide bar counter with seating for four is available so you can perch here to eat, prep dinner, or enjoy a cup of coffee while you plot the next day’s adventures!
Behind the couch is the full-sized pool table. Don’t play yet? Look up a few rules and hold a friendly competition! Or give the electronic dartboard a try, knowing it keeps a perfect score.
The four-poster king bed is the cabin’s centerpiece. A tree trunk forms one post, and overhead, a canopy of silken vines shades the bed in leaves! Next to the bed is your jetted tub, set in a stone-lined nook. The bathroom is extra special. To enter, walk through the arched doorway cut into another huge tree trunk. The stone-lined, stone-floored shower is stunning. The Enchanted Treehouse’s covered, wraparound deck drapes you in refreshing shade as you rock in the classic rocking chairs. Try some Tennessee sweet fruit wine while you enjoy the forest view.
The deck is home to your private hot tub, where you can soak away your cares and get ready for a great night’s sleep.
A charcoal grill sits just outside the cabin, so pick up tasty marinades at local specialty food shops, and fire up the grill for chicken, steak, or shrimp kebabs. Even your car or truck can take it easy here, with a paved parking area and a carport, too. Located just 10 minutes to downtown Gatlinburg, great location with easy access to all attractions, yet private and quiet.
