Our family of 17 thoroughly enjoyed this cabin! It was clean, well- stocked, and offered plenty of room for our crew! The views were breathtaking as we saw bears and a bald eagle! When we did have a minor issue, they were very prompt to answer and correct the issue. I highly recommend this property, and we will be back! 5 STARS.

We visited the cabin from Dec. 12-15 2024 and the views were breaking. I hope that you’re not afraid of heights because the cabin is very high up lol but well worth the drive up. You can see Gatlinburg from the cabin and we even seen a bear with her cubs not too far from the cabin. The cabin was very clean and we had more than enough room for the 10 ladies. When leaving the cabin make sure that you’re going back the same way you came because there is another way down the mountain that we found out about leaving that morning that we didn’t expect. All in all the experience was breathtaking and they want to return again with there husbands. Thank you for sharing your amazing cabin with us and we shall return again soon. We rent a cabin once a year for our leadership team's annual planning meetings. When looking for rentals, I purposefully look for Stony Brook Cabin's available listings first every time! They are thoughtful, responsive, and reliable. We know the cabin will be exactly as described, it will be ready as promised with an easy key-code to access, it will have all of the little "shouldn't be extras" that some places don't provide (enough toilet paper, dish soap, etc.) and they don't play the usual Airbnb game of charging astronomical cleaning fees while simultaneously making you do all of the laundry and cleaning. I think they asked us to start the dishwashers and that was it. And we LOVE their connection to a grocery delivery service so we have a stocked kitchen when we arrive!

This cabin was beautiful and perfect for our youth group! We had around 30 people with plenty of room to spare. Beautiful view and everything I had hoped for! Hope to get this cabin every year!

We really enjoyed our stay at Majestic Overlook. It was perfect for our group. The cabin was clean and well stocked with dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper and towels etc. We would've used a second coffee maker if it would've been available and also a bigger bowl for salads, but those two issues didn't keep us from having a good time. The views were incredible! We all agreed we'd love to go back sometime! The staff at Stony Brook Lodging is very helpful and great to work with.

We, as a group of siblings and in-laws, really enjoyed our stay at Majestic Overlook. We loved the large dining table that we all fit around and the fact that each bedroom had it's own bathroom and private deck. The living space was clean, roomy and inviting. We also spent time on the main deck enjoying the beautiful view of the mountains around us. We would've used the 2nd coffee pot if it had been available and some bigger serving bowls in the kitchen, but those small issues didn't keep us from enjoying our stay. There were plenty of towels, wash cloths, toilet paper, paper towels etc. Beautiful cabin! We all would love to visit again sometime!

We loved the cabin. It was so very fun and the view was breathtaking. The only issue was one bedroom, you couldn’t go outside on the balcony due to the lock portion being broke so it was no way to open it to go out. Other than that, I would recommend this cabin to anyone. I truly loved it.

We rented this cabin for a work retreat and it was perfect! Enough bedrooms and bathrooms so we didn’t have to share. Plenty of space for us to enjoy each other’s company and still work. The media room was fantastic to use when showing presentations.
The only con that most mentioned was the blaring sun coming in the windows on the main floor made it difficult to sit at the dining table or in the living room.

Every year we take a vacation to the mountains and so far this has been the best property we’ve ever stayed at. Everything was amazing including the host. We’ll definitely be coming back again.

A beautiful cabin with a really beautiful view. The house was clean and it was everything we expected. They will respond to you quick. Overall, great experience!
