Smoky's Grand View

This cabin was absolutely beautiful! The view was breathtaking. We stayed 5 nights and every single day we still couldn’t get over the view. The fire place, grill, and hot tub worked perfect. The cabin offered everything we needed - we did bring extra laundry soap, dish washer pods and garbage bags. The only complaint would be the driveway but that is not the owners fault. All the driveways seemed to be tricky up on the mountain. However I would suggest if you have more than 4 cars it would not work. It’s a one lane driveway so we had to maneuver cars around a lot and the driveway is straight down. Other than the driveway we had no complaints we even had a bear visitor one night. The owners reached out multiple times to make sure everything was okay but no to where it was overbearing.

We all really enjoyed the cabin. Everything was in place and the space was very clean. We all fell in love with downstairs game room and bar are. The views are to die for! It was so beautiful. It was very windy due to the time of year we visited but don’t allow how it sounds from the inside to scare you. The only con was how tight the driveway is. If coming in a big group it’s smarter to rent a large vehicle and ride together. There is not enough room for multiple cars and if you pull in you WILL have to back out. There is no turnaround point. Other than that the home is beautiful, the views are amazing, and the stay is overall wonderful!

I’d 100% recommend this place to any friends or family looking for a place to stay. And I would also book another stay in the future if I ever find myself in that area again. It was perfect.

The stove has a broken knob that needs to be fixed! We were worried it was leaking gas, it looks like it has been broke for quite a while. I recommend looking at it before your next guest arrives.

The cabin was perfect for 5 adult couples. It was spacious and having 5 master Bars and 5 full baths was perfect. The view from the decks were breath taking and we had daily visits from several bears and cubs. The game room and hot tub were a hit for sure.

We loved our stay at Smoky’s Grand View! The service was exceptional! The family was happy to get together in such comfort! We loved the views from the deck, the fire pit, the grill, the hot tub! The house was very clean! The drive up and down the mountain was a constant source of excitement, as was the bear visit on our second night! The cabin was convenient to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, and we enjoyed the attractions of both towns. Service by Stony Brook Lodging was considerate and timely! Thank yo SO much for making our family gathering such a success!!

I already need to be back there! This place has got to be one of the best out there. Such a great responsive staff anytime of day. The accommodations in this place is as they list it and beyond your expectations. This fit a family of a comfortably and we had space to move and not fall over each other. And the views! It is something to behold.
The only thing I would say is they should mention the drive up from the foothills. It’s about a mile and 3/4 up, on a very twisty- mountainside road. Not for the faint of heart nor those wanting to drive at night unless you’re accustomed to it.

It was beautiful and peaceful. The views from the porch were spectacular. We wanted amazing views of the mountains and we got them. We also saw bears which was a plus. The beds were comfortable. Everyone enjoyed there stay. The only downside was that we had to leave.

We spent five wonderful days at this cabin. The view from the decks was magnificent. The cabin has been meticulously maintained and was extremely clean and comfortable. The location of the cabin was perfect for access to Gatlinburg, restaurants and Smoky Mountain National Park hiking. We needed to contact the rental company a few times during our stay and they were always available and very helpful. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the Gatlinburg area.

The cabin was exactly what we needed for our trip! Lots of space to hang out and relax, with a great basement to hang out in that has all the amenities to feel like a great basement bar. The pool table, bar and multiple TVs in the basement especially. Each room having its own bathroom and shower was great and was perfect for our group with multiple couples. Will definitely be coming back!

Amazing place with beautiful views! Best part was that each room was pretty much identical so there were no problems picking room lol! Great location as well, close to the town. Tricky driving so make sure your car can handle steep roads/driveways!

Wonderful stay at an amazing cabin. Pictures did not do the view justice. The staff was communicative, the rooms were perfect (king bed and a private bath for all). The Fireplaces in both common areas were appreciated and well used by our group. Would love to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! The location - and views - can’t be beat. The staff was communicative, it was easy to check in, everything was clean and worked and the bedrooms were all well appointed with their own bathrooms/king beds. Would love to stay again.

The cabin looked exactly like the pictures and the lay out was very nice! Would be nice for different families as everyone would have their own space. The view was also beautiful and I appreciate the ample seating that was offered on the balconies. The beds were very comfortable unlike most rental places and the bathrooms were clean. They offer a surplus of towels which is nice to not have to wash some while you’re there. The hosts are super friendly and called multiple times to check in, see if we needed anything or had any comments or concerns. My only complaint, which is not their fault at all, was the drive way was very very steep and the only way out was to back out, there was no turn around spot so moving cars around was a hassle. Not really even a complaint just something to keep in mind! Overall could not recommend this place more for a big group.

Incredible cabin and view!! I stayed for a family vacation of 7 adults + kids, and the place was perfectly cozy yet spacious enough so it never felt cramped. Beds were impressively comfy, I slept like a baby. Check-in was smooth, and there was a phone check-in just to make sure all was well. The view was spectacular, that alone made the trip. The area is quiet and felt private above the trees, my family and I would sit on the patio just to appreciate the birds and mountains every evening. Sunrise is magical. Cabin felt homey.
Location is very convenient for driving straight to Smoky Mountain NP or into town while being removed enough from the bustling downtown to be serenely peaceful. We saw some bears walking through the streets while there (and a mama bear with cubs at the community pool)!
Kitchen is well stocked with pans, utensils, dishes, etc. but I do recommend you bring oil/spices, as needed. Everything was clean and plenty of towels. Great stay!! Would stay again.

Aside from the very "Smoky Mountain" making it difficult to drive up and down the extremely narrow road to the cabin, and the awkward parking... this cabin and the views were majestic. We had such an awesome time, even through the dreary fog and Misty rain all weekend. It was a much needed unplugged weekend away, with some of the most incredible views.

Omg!!! This cabin was absolutely beautiful. The view was breathtaking. Even the bears coming onto the deck was an experience. Not to mention a cub getting into my in-laws unlocked car setting off the alarm. My family and I will definitely stay with Stony Brook Cabins again. Everything was 5 stars from the booking with Rhonda through out our stay. I would definitely recommend this company and this cabin to all.

Our stay was an easy and enjoyable experience from booking to checkout. Communication from Stony Brook was timely and thorough. We had a few minor issues with the cabin (broken rocking chair, main fireplace would not light, dishwasher leaked a little) but I emailed and received very timely responses. The cabin was well stocked - plenty of towels, paper products, kitchen appliances (2 toasters, 2 coffee makers), dishes and utensils, etc. The view is beautiful and the directions were easy to follow. I will book this cabin again!

Any questions or issues were addressed immediately either by phone call or email. We were checked in on regularly. The staff and owners are all such professional, polite people! Truly a pleasure dealing with them! They were so kind they all signed an Anniversary card for us and had it waiting on the kitchen counter when we arrived. Everything was explained in detail prior to arrival and nothing left to chance. I highly recommend Stony Brook.

The cabin was beautiful and perfect for 5 couples, We even enjoyed ourselves with the pool table and video games when we had a full day of rain. The view was spectacular and we spent every night after dinner on the decks and just talked and had cocktails, and one night it was cool enough to light the fire pit for awhile. All in all we all left relaxed. Oh by the way we did have visit from a big black bear, my grandson loved the video we were able to get.

We loved our stay in Smokys Grand View. The large cabin was spotless and beautiful. It came with everything that we needed to enjoy the week with. We stayed in Smoky's Grand View and loved it! It is an excellent cabin for a large family, which we had. The only issue was that the rooms were a little tight for the bed size, but it was nice to have king sized beds in all of the rooms and that every bedroom had a full bathroom. The view from this cabin is stunning. We spent a lot of time on both decks just enjoying the view, even seeing a bear or two every now and then. A wonderful site. Be prepared to go up the mountain for this cabin, but we thought that the view was definitely worth it.

When I called to ask about a drop off point for extra garbage, I was pleasantly surprised that an offer was made to pick our garbage up. They emptied the outside garbage bin the same day!

It was very clean and nicely setup and we absolutely loved the card and bear for my husbands birthday and he says thanks!! Plenty of dishes and utensils to use to cook. Plenty towels, and again soooo clean and nicely setup, plenty room and when we come back we will absolutely be staying with you guys again.

We had a fantastic time! The cabin was beautiful, clean, and had most things we needed (totally understand not wanting to have certain shareable items due to the pandemic). The team was cordial, checked in on a timely basis, and were easy to work with (they even hand-wrote a birthday card for me, it was so sweet)! I'd stay here again, 100%.
