Other than being hard to find the cabin was great. It was nice to be secluded. The back deck with the swing and hot tub were perfect. Loved having a fireplace. There was no bear proof trash on our lot. We had to walk up the hill to use the neighbors.

This cabin is great for a couple. Newly remodeled and clean. Hot tub was perfect and bathroom and kitchen were perfect size. The small living area was intimate yet functional. There were lots of lady bugs that came in but they were not there when we arrived. The location is a bit far from Gatlinburg as we like to go to the National Park and it was a good 30 minute drive. Other than that, it was quiet and private.

Upon arrival I was informed that amenities/home had been clean before our arrival, however it looked like this place had not been visited in the last week or two. Dead lady bugs throughout cabin and hot tub was somewhat dirty from like wind debri, which is understandable since we just had a few tornado warning two days before. It started out rocky but the stonybrook crew quickly fixed the issue and helped out with the night lost without amenities. Over all a great place to stay

We stayed for 3 nights and it was perfect! We booked this based off of reviews as the cabin doesn’t have many photos and the reviews are accurate! Very clean and easy access upon arrival, the host called to check in on day 2 which we appreciated. Just be sure to read the listing. We were prepared but the cabin is bare bones, no transfer of food from guest to guest but we didn’t mind. The property itself felt secluded but was a close drive to the grocery store, and some restaurants. We had our dog with us and walking around the neighborhood was very peaceful - we even saw a black bear on the property! Very cool property.

Our stay with Stony Brook was great, there were storms that came through before we got there that knocked the wifi out. The whole time we were there we didn’t have wifi and didn’t get very good connection up at the cabin but honestly that made the trip a little better it made us enjoy the outdoors and the beautiful views from the balcony and out of the hot tub that they have. The wifi was really not a huge deal to us as we didn’t come to sit inside and be on our phones. Stony Brooks instructions on everything were very detailed and easy to follow. They allow pets and we brought our dog. He loved his stay as well. They have a nice grassy area by the back balcony for you to take your dog and the back porch lights give you light to see in the dark. Over all our stay was great and when we look to come back soon, we will look for Stony Brook to see if they are available first. Thank you!

I cried when I walked in! Probably combination of being overwhelmed with travelling and the cabin was amazing at first sight; the hot tub was the best part. Everything was amazing, we used kitchen to cook breakfast. Only downside was the couch pull out was very uncomfortable and ended up just sleeping on actual couch. But entire bnb was very peaceful if you want a relaxing getaway look no further !

I gave a 5 star ? we stayed in trail head cabin. The view was breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful. we sat in the hot tub and had the best view of the mountains. the inside of the cabin was spectacularly clean. everything was as pictured. we went for our anniversary. they left us a anniversary card with all of their signatures and a cute little set of bears. we will be returning. even with the hot tub not heating up to the right temp. soon as I sent the message to our host on our last night they got back with that morning us and let us know that they put a work order in for it to be looked at. they apologized. they was amazing hosts. I have absolutely no complaints!

Beautiful place to get away! My husband and I stayed for our wedding anniversary and everything is exactly as described. Not far from Gatlinburg and pigeon forge but out of the way enough to enjoy the scenery and avoid the tourist traffic. Definitely plan on rebooking in the future!!

We booked a 3 night stay, and ended up extending our stay to enjoy the area more/not rush check out. Our host called on the second day to make sure we were happy with our cabin and make sure we didn’t need anything or have questions, which I thought was very proactive and kind. Our cabin was perfect for the two of us and our dog. Upon arrival things were clean and tidy. I always take extra towels so I don’t have to bother hosts, but our cabin had plenty as well! We enjoyed the hottub while it rained, and had a nice drive to gatlinburg. Lots of nearby stores if you need anything as well! Over all, our hosts were very accommodating and I have no complaints!

We drove in pretty late so our experience on the winding roads for access was an adventure. The cabin was clean and very cozy. Entrance was easy and the instructions were spot on. We even got a couple of calls just to see if we needed anything. We made great memories.

It was taking care as quickly as it could be done.The oven was not working but the repair man fixed it.He found there is no flash guard on the back of the stove so one still needs to be put on it!!!

This was a nice cabin in a convenient area to Gatlinburg and the park. There were a few small maintenance issues but the management contacted us during our stay to see if we had any problems. Really appreciated that. This unit was called the Trailhead unit. We looked at the other units in the complex and decided that this was one of the better units for "a nice view" and for ease of getting to the cabin. Some of the other unit driveways looked to be difficult to drive on without getting a regular vehicle stuck. All in all it was a very good trip.

Overall we had a wonderful experience and you could not ask for more if you desire to be in a nice quiet wooded community in the mountains. However for the price there are a few small things I would do to update cabin: Add mirrors in the bedrooms, bathrooms need more towel hangers, bedroom needs a tv, and a washer and dryer even a stackable one would be great. We had a minor issue with hot tub temperature but we called and maintenance came right away and it was repaired the same day. We will definitely be back and my husband and I may check out the studio cabin next year.

We loved having a cozy home base to come back to every night. It was great being close to the arts & crafts community as well as the main strip. The anniversary gift waiting for us was such a sweet touch to a memorable trip. The free ticket to the aquarium was a big plus!!

Clean and well maintained cabin with a well thought out floor plan & plenty of AC (which came in handy as it was really hit when we visited in late July 2020. Hot Tub was a relief after a hard days hike. Jacuzzi Tub on upper level was a surprise - if it were just the 2 of us then that would have been lovely, but with the family & it overlooking the main room it seemed a tad risky. Overall it was a pretty good value, and one I would rent again. Sidenote - Trish’s Diner for breakfast best the pants off of waiting in long lines down in Gatlinburg.
