Ms. Parton herself will appear at Dollywood as a virtual cast member in the park's musical adaption of A Christmas Carol. For the first time ever, Dolly will be joined by Rudolph and all of his friends form the beloved television special. Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival runs from November 8, 2014 through January 3, 2015. All of the fun will be at the theme park, located at 2700 Dollywood Parks Blvd, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863.
A Christmas Carol, the insufferable Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by four ghosts on Christmas Eve. In Dollywood's rendition of the story, Dolly Parton plays the role of the Ghost of Christmas Past! The theme park utilizes high tech holographic technology to let Dolly interact with the live actors on stage. In addition to her starring role in A Christmas Carol, Dolly also wrote 7 original songs for this musical adaption of the holiday classic. Rudolph will appear with his girlfriend Clarice, the crazy old prospector Yukon Cornelius, and Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster. All of the characters will be at Rudolph's Holly Jolly Junction throughout the Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival.
