Dolly Parton and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Join Forces in Pigeon Forge

She is a chart topping country music star from East Tennessee with 8 Grammy Awards. He is a reindeer from the North Pole who saved Christmas with his very shiny nose. What do Dolly Parton and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer have in common? They will both be part of the  Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival at Dollywood!

Ms. Parton herself will appear at Dollywood as a virtual cast member in the park's musical adaption of A Christmas Carol. For the first time ever, Dolly will be joined by Rudolph and all of his friends form the beloved television special. Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival Dates and Location

Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival runs from November 8, 2014 through January 3, 2015. All of the fun will be at the theme park, located at 2700 Dollywood Parks Blvd, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863.

  A Christmas Carol, the insufferable Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by four ghosts on Christmas Eve. In Dollywood's rendition of the story, Dolly Parton plays the role of the Ghost of Christmas Past! The theme park utilizes high tech holographic technology to let Dolly interact with the live actors on stage. In addition to her starring role in A Christmas Carol, Dolly also wrote 7 original songs for this musical adaption of the holiday classic. Meet Rudolph and Friends

Rudolph the Red Nosed-Reindeer and all of his friends are this year's special guests at Dollywood. Guests will have the chance to meet and take pictures with characters from the longest running Christmas special in history!Santa and Rudolph take a selfie

Rudolph will appear with his girlfriend Clarice, the crazy old prospector Yukon Cornelius, and Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster. All of the characters will be at Rudolph's Holly Jolly Junction throughout the Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival.
