Spectacular sunrise views, well furnished & maintained cabin, and spacious too. One of the best cabins we’ve been to. Proximity to local attractions is a bonus. Fall colors were stunning. Oh and we got to see some bears on the way! On the whole, a Memorable trip. The cabin was totally worth it !

If you wanna be in the mountains with a great view but also close to downtown area this is the perfect spot.

The house was beautiful, we enjoyed our stay. It was spacious for our group and centrally located near town.
The furniture outside is not very comfortable, we would have enjoyed the outdoor space more but it wasn’t very comfortable.
Remember to bring garbage bags, dish soap, laundry soap etc.
Host was very responsive to our needs. The coffee pot didn’t work so they brought us a new one. (Make sure to bring coffee filters)
Would have been nice to have some seating in the basement by the games.
Overall we would recommend and would love to stay here again.

Best views in all of Gatlinburg. If you enjoy sunrises and sunsets, this is the place for you. It is also only a 4 min drive down to the entrance of the smoky mountains! Location is unbeatable. The house itself if very updated and cozy. Highly recommend this place. The "starter pack" they set you with isn't terrible - just bring a few extra garbage bags and some dishwasher pods.

Stayed here for the Fourth with some friends. Property management company was very responsive and helpful with question. Property itself was beautiful and comfortable with a great view of downtown Gatlinburg and the Smokey Mountains

We enjoyed our stay, absolutely stunning views, Our cabin was overlooking the town of Gatlinburg ,fireplace out on the patio, which came in handy. We had some cooler nights when we were there, and the house itself was absolutely beautiful.

Great location and nice views. Very close to town. Less than a few minutes down the mountain. The hot tub was broken and we were told of this 30 minutes before check-in. Kids were bummed. We had a few issues, but everything was taken care of promptly. Very responsive and friendly hosts. House sizable and comfortable for our stay.

Very beautiful cabin! We had a fantastic time! Home offered plenty of things to do if you wished to stay in for the day. Beds were very comfortable and absolutely beautiful views of downtown and the mountains!

This was perfect for us. The view was amazing and location perfect to go to Ober Gatlinburg, the parc and downtown Gatlinburg. The view is unique in that you can see the mountains for miles but also the city lights downtown. The house had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again!
Note that if there is any snow or severe weather in winter you would need awd/4dw and chains as the road and driveway are very very steep.

smokey mountain high is a lovely cabin, with a great view. it comes with a pet BEAR! it is here multiple times thru the day. even walked up on deck and looked in door. We loved our stay and Stony Brook Cabins employee Rhonda is awesome to deal with. Ask for her. Check in and out was super smooth. would be awesome if could purchase gate access to top of skilift. could leave car at cabin

You won’t find a better view than this place. Clean and spacious.
Like others have mentioned there is a bit of a mountain road to drive through but we managed with a Ford Transit van.

If you are looking for a central mountain location to downtown Gatlinburg and & all of the surrounding areas, this is the place for you. The deck is such a great place to relax and spend time with family & friends after a day of exploring. We didn't spend any time inside the house, except to sleep. The home theater & tv's were never turned on once. The house inside is very nice. Although there are quite a few things that need a little TLC. All things reported to property management & hopefully will repair for the next guests. Surprised by the lesser quality of the household items (coffee pot, blender, toaster, etc). All in all, our trip was great. Enjoyed the house, enjoyed the view & really enjoyed our stay in Tennessee.

Beautiful, clean cabin! Excellent views! This is our second time saying with Stony Brook and once again you did not disappoint! Cabins always look like the photos! Friendly helpful staff! Clean cabins! It was also our 10 year anniversary and we loved the little gift left for us and card! We will be back!

Stony Brook was intentional about checking in on us during our stay. The house was exactly as pictured and we had no issues, however if we had experienced any problems we were confident Stony Cabins would take care of us:)

Great stay with amazing views over Gatlinburg. Close to everything but still the sense of being away from the hustle and bustle so we could relax as a family. Kids loved the game room and movie theater. We will definitely be staying again!

Beautiful home with plenty of space. Gorgeous views and near to town. Nicely equipped kitchen. Plenty of linens and towels. Kids had a blast in the media and game room. Management company called us a couple of times during stay to check if we needed anything. Would love to book again.

Epic experience for our spring break vacation. Great cabin with amazing views above Gatlinburg but removed enough from the hustle and bustle could enjoy the quiet away from the crowds and truly relax. Still only minutes away from downtown and short drive over to Pigeon Forge. Our kids loved the game room and movie theater. We will definitely be coming back!

This cabin was beautiful and very comfortable. We had a few minor mishaps with the internet and the fireplace and they were very quick with response. Would definitely recommend them.

But this place is absolutely amazing. I hate to give it away. The views are phenomenal... the house is beautiful. There are not enough words to describe this place. It is a thousand times better than the pictures. Did I mention right at the center of it all.

We really enjoyed our stay at Smoky Mountain High. Loved the outdoor fireplace, the comfy beds, game room was a hit too! Great gathering areas but then had private spaces too. There was a loud noise our last evening from the downstairs area that we called about. The maintenance man called and while on the phone it stopped. They need to have the codes updated for the private doors so the area could have been checked. But he thought it was a holding tank pump, but all was quiet the rest of our stay. The Stony brook staff called to check on us the day we arrived which was a nice touch. We plan to come back!

This is the second time i have stayed in a stony brook cabin. And again very happy ! Our cabin was beautiful and is a credit to the owner. It would have been good to have access to the chairlift and sky bridge from this property but it was just to hard to arrange. Entering from the top was possible. A special pass or arrangement would have topped it off. Our stay was very memorable Thank you !!

It was an excellent experience! The staff was incredibly helpful, kind, and great. They went the extra mile to make our honeymoon special! We are definitely coming back, and want to make it a family tradition.
